I've always enjoyed training and fitness, so after years in the corporate world I decided it was time to follow my passion. In 2020 I completed a Certificate IV in Fitness and began Personal and Group Training.
But, when it came food I was never really sure how or what to choose to refuel. With so much information - where do you start? I followed suggested eating plans and fads for a while, which didn't help. If anything, did more harm than good. How should I nourish myself the right way?
So, my journey took me a Graduate Diploma of Human Nutrition (Deakin University). Learning from science-based evidence I now nourish my body and brain with what they need to keep me working at my very best. I'm now studying a Graduate Certificate in Strength and Conditioning (University of Wollongong) to truly understand exercise science and how it impacts everyday movements and training choices.
Part of my journey was really choosing the healthiest lifestyle for me, so I also moved away from the big gym culture and couldn't be happier.
